Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Studsmith at gfx.galacticstudios.net (the "service"), run by Galactic Studios ("we", "us"). The short version: we keep what we need to run your account and your images, we run no ads or tracking, and we never sell your data.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a salted hash of your password. We never store the password itself.
- Sign-in safety: a count of failed sign-in attempts, so we can lock an account under attack for a short time.
- What you make: your prompts, the reference images you upload, the images you generate, and the preset and model you picked.
- Credits: a history of every credit grant, charge and refund on your account.
- Payments, when available: Stripe handles card details. We receive a payment confirmation and a customer reference, never your full card number.
Cookies and analytics
We set one cookie, gfx_session, which keeps you signed in. It is needed for the service to work. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and page load times. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of you. Apart from that one Cloudflare script, the site loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
Why we use it
Only to run the service: to sign you in, generate and store your images, keep your credit balance correct, prevent abuse and answer you when you write to us.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare hosts the site, the database and the image storage, and processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and stop abuse.
- fal.ai runs the image models. It receives your prompt and any reference images for a generation, and some of its models are provided by companies such as Google and OpenAI.
- Stripe processes payments, once buying credits is available.
Each handles data under its own privacy policy. These companies may process data outside Canada, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, images and credit history while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account, prompts and images, except for records we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and images, by writing to contact@galacticstudios.net.
Children
Studsmith is for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.
